What quantity of fat can you remove with BodyTite
BodyTite can remove up to 60% of the fat from a treatment area. BodyTite can remove 3-4 grams per day if you have a mild fatty deposit. This means that for an average of 75 ml of fat, you can expect to lose about 45 ml after the procedure. This may vary from person to person and depend on their overall health and weight.
It’s not a magic pill that will remove all of your body fat. For BodyTite to be most effective, you should have realistic expectations about what it can do for you.
If you have a moderate fatty deposit, a complete body treatment may be able to remove them. It will remove up to 10 grams of fat from your body.
If you have severe fatty deposits and are looking for a more aggressive program, we recommend our Fat Injections Program, based on BodyTite but with an injection every two weeks instead of once a month.
Can BodyTite take place without liposuction?
BodyTite is a non-invasive fat reduction surgery that targets subcutaneous and visceral fat. With a local anesthetic, the procedure lasts only one hour. One of the most common questions is, “is BodyTite done without liposuction?” BodyTite targets areas of fat that are not sensitive to exercise. Generally speaking, you wouldn’t want to lose volume in your face if your goal was to achieve smooth contours, so you would have to have liposuction.
Why do you need bodytite?
It is the first non-invasive way to remove excess fat and cellulite.
The BodyTite System uses a patented medical device called “the Cellulite Corrector” to safely and effectively reduce cellulite in just 10 minutes a day!
The Cellulite Corrector targets areas where cellulite is most visible, like thighs, hips, upper arms, and abdomen. It also works on other areas of your body that are not ordinarily visible, such as belly fat and love handles.
The Cellulite Corrector has two attachments – an adhesive pad and a suction cup. Each branch has its unique use:

Before surgery
It is important to be well-hydrated before the procedure. The doctor will ask you to drink at least half a liter of water in the hours following the process.
There is antibiotic pre-treatment if the patient has an infection that could affect the treated area, such as a boil or abscess.
A general anesthetic is not necessary for bodytite procedures. Still, it is advisable if you have had any recent surgery or if your skin condition causes problems during surgery.
How is The Fat Removed During a Surgery?
Your doctor will assist you in getting rid of the excess fat by:
Fat removal Recovery and After-care
After bodytite surgery, your body will be in recovery for a few weeks. You’ll have some swelling and bruising from the procedure, but most permanent changes will happen after you leave the hospital.
The first month is usually the most painful part of your recovery. You may feel tired and weak, so you may want to take it easy and avoid heavy lifting or other strenuous activities. Your doctor can tell you how long you should be off work based on age and physical condition.
You may notice that your breasts are tender for several days after surgery. You may also experience mild nausea or vomiting following the procedure if you overeat before surgery or if you take certain medications that make you sicker than usual.
The second month is more accessible than the first one because most of the work is complete by then. You should start getting back into everyday activities, such as housework and outdoor walks.
You’ll need to follow up with your plastic surgeon every six months to ensure everything is going well and that there are no complications from body surgery such as infection.
What areas can be treated with BodyTite?
BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure that can address small, localized areas of fat and loose skin. It works best on targeted treatment areas that have mild to moderate fat deposits and skin laxity.
- Arms, thighs, abdomen, flanks/love handles:
BodyTite is commonly used to treat smaller fatty deposits and sagging skin on the upper arms, inner and outer thighs, abdominal area, and along the sides of the torso under the arms.
Is there a limit to how much fat BodyTite removes?
While effective for small areas, there are limitations regarding the total amount of fat BodyTite can remove in one session. Understanding these limitations helps set accurate expectations.
- Up to 5 liters of fat can be removed
Most providers set 5 liters of fat removal as the maximum limit for safe removal with BodyTite in a single session. Removing more than this can increase risk factors.
- The amount removed depends on the treatment areas
The specific amount that can be removed will depend on the number and size of treatment areas addressed in one session. More areas mean less fat removed per area.
